Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This vacuum cleaner is an excellent choice for those living in apartments since it has smaller docking systems and comes with its own trash bin. The application lets you set up various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping feature is also very impressive.

Its mapping and obstacle avoidance are impressive, as is the fact that it mops very well, picking up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans, and refills its tank.

Roomba Combo from iRobot

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. The iRobot Combo doesn't quite replace our Editors' Choice winner, the Deebot X1 Omni. It is more efficient and comes with an app for mobile devices that is simpler to use however it's a great alternative. In our tests, it consistently picked up dirt of all sizes and types from hard floors and carpets. Its obstacle avoidance isn't as advanced as other systems such as LiDAR and structured light, but it manages to prevent most collisions.

The Combo comes with many of the same smarts that the j7 Plus does, including onboard acoustic sensor to determine the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation, but it lacks the ability set suction power by hand. It's also smaller than its automatic vacuum cleaner and mop-only counterpart and doesn't come with an auto-empty dock.

The Combo is one of my favorites for homes with a lot of space. Its sleek design is also one of the best automatic vacuum I've seen in the industry. The matte black finish is more sophisticated than the metallic or glossy finishes of many competitors. iRobot also adds some more elegant features, such as a leather tab for opening the bin that is onboard and a shelf to hold extra bags inside the dock. The iRobot Combo also allows you to create maps of your home, as well as to create Keep-Out Zones as well as No-Mop Zones and Clean Zones.

Roborock

While Roborock is comparatively new to the robot vacuum and mop market however, it has already made its mark thanks to a suite of innovative cleaning techniques. The brand's vacuums have industry-leading suction, and its mopping systems use vibrating mops to keep floors of dust. Furthermore, a range of scheduling and mapping options allow you to fine-tune the bot's cleaning schedule for your particular home.

The RCV 5 is very easy to use and, despite being heavy, at around 4kg, you won't have any trouble maneuvering it around furniture. After charging it takes only several hours to fully charge and the two buttons on top will flash green to signal that it is ready to go.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner blends modern technology with affordable. It is a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's most popular Q Revo. It's easy to control using the app and a variety of voice output options will inform you about the state of your home robot. Regular updates to the software can improve and enhance its performance. The app can also be used to remotely manage the RCV3 when you're not at home.
