It's also prone to become stuck on shoes and socks and couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people well in our tests. It doesn't also come with a camera to look around corners.

Still, it's very good, especially if you want to save money on a iRobot Roomba and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. It's also quiet and works while you are at work or at school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming that is available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes that don't stay on for long and don't handle dried-on debris. The Q5 does have a self-emptying dock, though. If you're in need of it mop, the mopping pad can be swapped for one that is wet in just a few just a few seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba X30

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive mopping and vacuuming into a sleek, compact package. Its smart cleaning maps and fluid navigation make it simple to clean, and efficient in tackling larger particles, like pet hair. It also comes with strong suction and self-emptying bin.
