It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is the highest power of any vacuum we've tested so far. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.

The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also comes with mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

Additionally it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its normal vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's costly. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can justify the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. The high price is justified by the robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based controller that is smart and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop ind however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot vacuum cleaner and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements and is poured into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot vacuums with mop brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, and it still offers some impressive features. Its multi-function dock drains the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good robot vacuum bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually all areas mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like all the Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is solid it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

This machine has one major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last remnants of debris and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum dust that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help the robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
