This is among the top drip coffee makers on the market. It makes consistently delicious hot cups of coffee that brew quickly and efficiently from sleek, compact components that are easy to operate, all at an extremely reasonable price.

We also liked the simplicity of customizing the making process. By turning a dial, you can choose the size of your cup (from 5-ounce single-servings to a full-sized carafe) and the strength you want and whether you want a regular or French press setting. The only issue is that the design doesn't resemble some of the other more sophisticated models we've tried. The narrow opening and slender tank can be tricky to navigate, particularly in the dark when the brew is in. It requires a bit more time and thought to get started in the early morning.
