After a series of social media posts hints at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally announced its NFT (non fungible token) Project. Space Key, developed by a non-publicized artist and based upon advanced carbon fiber composite materials, which were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project that has been announced by Lamborghini.

The new initiative - named the Space Key - is a piece of art made in collaboration with an unknown artist. The NFT is an exclusive piece of digital art that is accessible via the use of a QR code. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned in the coming weeks.

The auction

The five NFTs can be bought by registering online. Each NFT will be auctioned off separately and the winner will receive an original digital art work by the renowned photographer Fabian Oefner that captures five different moments that the Space Key experienced during its flight in outer space.
