It didn't mop however and its cleaning pads were a bit difficult to attach and didn't deal with dirt that had dried on.

The app doesn't have advanced features like multiple cleaning modes or automated scheduling. It does support Alexa, but its voice controls aren't very intuitive or responsive. And it's also a little flaky when it comes to returning to the charging station after running other robots are able to trace a previous path or follow a wall around until they get to their home however, the RX3 simply bumbles around until it quits and sends a message of failure to your phone.

Another issue we faced was with its intelligent features, particularly the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. While it did a decent job of avoiding our shoes and furniture legs but it could easily be caught by cables and socks and it was not able to manage the tassels on carpets. We didn't include the Scout RX3 in our Best buy robot vacuum cleaner list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and a dazzling performance. It's worth a look as an alternative to uprights that are traditionally used.
