The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to select if you're looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that also mop. It's smaller than the other options which makes it more maneuverable in tight spaces or under furniture. It features a 220-degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It's got a battery of 4600mAh which can last up to 170 minutes when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer on turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery mid-clean.

It's quick and does a great job cleaning my two-bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, hallways, and living room in a single pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt, pet hair, and droppings with ease. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it detects rugs and the double side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, is not as good. The rotating mop spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to scrub dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arms protrude out slightly more than other robots, which is useful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. Those same front arms can also be employed to clean larger objects, such as broken toys and books.

Another good thing is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It doesn't produce the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to set up and works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum solely to mop you must be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful machine for cleaning with a range of features.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This allows it to map out your home and also find furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and efficiently. This will result in a thorough, consistent clean that's also fairly quick.

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, but it comes with some distinct features that are worth taking into consideration. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dust bin and an 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base also comes with a set of control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning job or recall the robot mop or use the dock's automatic emptying process. Press two of the buttons to turn off a child lock which is a great touch for parents worried about children playing with the vacuum.

The X1 Omni, like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will stay clear of them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise at finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like the power cord that is draped across a rug--that it becomes stuck and stops working until you manually free it. While this was rare, it was a frustrating experience when it happened particularly since the X1 Omni does not have an "stuck" status alert in its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping mode to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't an issue apart from the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), robot vacuum who created its sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals such as Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in the market that is dominated by boxy models.
