WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the level of the item but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear. For example upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl 385 will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item upgrades from a different player will cost 105.

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other items. They are purchased by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists.
