World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrader kit upgrade allows players to boost the gear rating of an item up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by having them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items can be upp'd to increase their stats (like a perfectly broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, including attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with a set bonus which is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. This bonus can sometimes be more than the damage that an upgrade can do on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity and level. For instance the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue to rise until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also alter the stats of the base. This is generally a positive factor, but it could also have negative consequences. Upgrades can render items impossible to use, unless you are extremely lucky.

Armor items can also be upgraded to boost their effectiveness. In the case of chests or helms, this will increase the defense of its base, while a belt and gloves will improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percent, which means that it may roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading, along with their respective values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% difference does not mean that the weapon will hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button with circling arrows in the item menu. This will reroll an item and alter its stats but it will not reset the weapon's level or connect it to an account's status.

Armor

A few tweaks to your armor can make huge differences in your ability to endure. Certain sets offer massive improvements in the resistance to poison, curses fire, magic, and other. This makes it easier to traverse difficult terrains. The more defense your character has the more value you can get out of each point of health, so it's important to upgrade your armor as often as you can.

To upgrade your armor, go to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a special side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main side quest and have completed the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to speak to any Great Fairy to open up the asome potions can be enhanced by adding glowstone dust or redstone to them.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a craft table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the cost of upgrading will vary based on the type of potion you'd like to upgrade, and also on the Best item upgrade's Mark Level as well as its rarity.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and Item upgrades select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open a GUI that allows you to select the potions that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will give you when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP they earn will be added to your current XP total.

When a poton is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you make use of it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the mechanism of potions. Splash potions, for example, now have a duration zero, not the 22.5 seconds shown on the item hover display. The table of potion constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. This allows it to be used by players in Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be mixed in cauldrons. The same is true for using a potion within a cauldron that is full. This will deplete the potion, and refill the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions, which are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Similarly, a lingering potions effect can be extended by adding redstone. The potion table has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, like the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket is a small and affordable ornament or piece of jewelry. It may also refer to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a purpose, but is not particularly important like a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket is a way to express affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of every zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available using tokens, gold, or fragments from rare trinkets.

Upgrading a trinket is an affordable alternative to buying a new one. A player can upgrade a trinket for as little 12 tokens. The new trinket will feature the same base ilvl as the old one, and will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus.

Once the old Trinkets are no longer usable, they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded between players and are a viable alternative to gold.

Players must upgrade their most valuable items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries and then other pieces of gear that they will not be replacing in the near future (for instance rings or cloaks). When choosing which items to upgrade, players should consider their class's preferred statistics. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to tank players, then they should upgrade their chest, helm and shoulders.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher ilvl after they're no longer needed, and the new trinket will have an additional bonus of 1% for upgrading. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, but is still less expensive than buying a new one.
