The name implies that the GE Profile series is targeted at the consumer who wants to incorporate cutting-edge features into their kitchen. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. This fridge is expensive and I expected more.

Apart from that minor flaw however, this refrigerator is a great choice. It has a large freezer compartment, which is quite uncommon in counter-depth French door fridges, and it holds a fair amount of frozen foods in comparison to similar models.

The fridge comes with 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment is 18.5 cubic feet, which is typical for a French-door refrigerator at this price. It has a decent sized icemaker in the left door. But it's not the most spacious one I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to create customized storage layout for whatever you have to store. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. The LED lighting is an attractive feature. The storage bins in the door include a third shelf that can be folded down to store large items. The drawers have temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, however I found their plastic textured coatings to be a bit difficult on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the complete set of features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range, including Wi-Fi and app support through GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices allows you to control your fridge from anywhere in world, and has a ton of customization options. It will also send notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter has to be changed.

It is nice it GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill, an option found in a few GE refrigerators that allow users to set the number of cups they would like to pour out. The fridge displays a countdown timer to reveal how much water is left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is a top counter-depth refrigerator that packs plenty of storage in an extremely compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has the standard French-door layout, with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door, two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set of sleeker drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more space. You'll also find a full width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best aspects of this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, which makes it simple to move frozen ice to the fridge to use as needed. The freezer also features innovative design features such as sliding drawers that can help you organize your items. It also has a large container to store frozen food items, and a separate bin for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It allows you to manage the refrigerator's temperature and lighting using your smartphone. It's a nice way to control and monitor your refrigerator, particularly if you're away from home.

Although the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. This fridge took longer to defrost food and chill it than the other fridges we test. This could be due to the bigger capacity.

Another issue with this refrigerator is its doors. They have sunken handles at the front, which allows smaller people to open them from the bottom, but they're still difficult for taller people to guide closed without slamming them. It would have been more effective if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent choice for those who want to combine the advantages of a French-door fridge's aesthetics with a more efficient layout. It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also less expensive than the top counter depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, making it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice for those looking for a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a basic fridge that may not be as eye-catching as its rivals however, fisher and paykel french door fridge ice maker it does have enough features to make it a good choice. Its most important feature, the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food items such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker and a water dispenser.

The "Chill Drawer", which is situated over the two crisper bins, is another nice feature. This drawer allows you to redirect a portion of the fridge's cooling power to this area so that you can store foods that require special attention. You can adjust the feature using the slider located on the outside of the drawer. You can also use this to set a general cooling setting for the entire fridge though I've found that adjusting the general settings tends produce better results than specific ones.

In my tests, I found that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across various parts of the refrigerator. Temperatures at the top and bottom of the fridge didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees, and even the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a good performance, but it does not quite make it to the top of our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of stainless steel with a grey-bodied body with a "smudge-proof" finish. It repels fingerprints and streaks better than other stainless steel finishes I've seen.
